The WPA were unable to raise an Executive Committee at our AGM held 31 May 2016. This has put the future of the WPA in jeopardy.  At a special meeting held 28 June 2016 the current President, Sally Edwards and Secretary, Jenni Hargraves have stepped back in to these positions.  Our valued Treasurer of many years, Zelda Henderson resigned and the position has now been filled by Ann Hawke.  The WPA can now function for the next year 2016/2017. However, the WPA does need more members. If you are interested in becoming a member of the WPA then please give use a call.

The Wonthella Progress Association recently unveiled its new logo designed by local artist Donna Heart. Heart’s brief was to capture the essence of the association which is about residents working together to make Wonthella a friendly and vibrant place to live. Photos were taken of houses in the area of which two were shortlisted and became the inspiration for the charming logo which will now appear on the Association’s documentation. Hearts creativity was further utilised when she suggested the tag line “looking back, moving forward“.
